The town's Edwardian character is remarkably preserved. The Otter Estuary is one of Devon's finest nature reserves.
The pebble beach is genuinely beautiful — the distinctive red pebbles are unique. The Otter Estuary at the western end for birdwatching. The town centre for excellent independent shops. The East Devon Way walking route passes through.
