Newtownabbey was formed in 1958 from several communities north of Belfast. The area includes significant communities like Glengormley, Ballyclare and Whiteabbey. Mossley Mill, a converted Victorian linen mill, is now a superb arts and community centre.
Mossley Mill arts centre for events and exhibitions. The Antrim coast is easily accessible. Cave Hill Country Park is close. The area has good retail and community amenities.
