An innovative new App to help local businesses attract more customers is now available to all companies in Wakefield thanks to the support of the local Council and Wakefield Business Improvement District.
The App, called ‘Roam Local’, will allow Wakefield businesses to make themselves more widely known on a nation-wide directory so they can attract both visitors and local customers with their own customised offers.
Andrew Bartlett, Founder and Managing Director of Roam Local, explains: “I developed this App to help support our local businesses to bounce back from lockdown, which has already proven a success by businesses which have started using it.
Christine Armstrong BID Manager said, “We are really pleased to be introducing the Roam Local App to our city and are encouraging both businesses and our wider community to get involved, to see the best of what Wakefield has to offer. Roam puts a spotlight on it all!”
